Turkey
Here are some analog snapshots from my first trip to Turkey back in 2023. I spent a full month in the country, starting in Istanbul, then exploring Cappadocia and the south coast.
IstanbulI stayed in the metropole for two weeks in total, hosted by two friends I hadn’t seen in ages. I didn’t have any particular plans so I just went with the flow.
Blue Mosque, in IstanbulFishermen on Galata bridgeThis iconic bridge of Istanbul connects Eminönü and Karaköy, two historic neighborhoods on the European side of the city. It is known for the many fishermen who line its edges every day.
Galata tower and Galata bridge, full of fishermen“ Vapors „The “vapors” are Istanbul’s ferries. They make their way back and forth all day, serving as one of the city’s most-used means of transport and connecting the European and Asian sides. Somehow, they’re a total contrast to the city's buzz!
"Vapor" in Eminönü, ready to leaveNight train to CappadociaI decided to go travel around the country and the first destination was Cappadocia. I reached it by train with a connection in Ankara.

I began with various hikes in the surrounding valleys.

Another hot air balloon in the sky but this time in PamukkaleEndI've spent a month in Turkey but I only saw a small part of it. It was challenging to truly capture the moments I experienced there, but I hope these pictures still give you a glimpse of it.
